I loved this series. The story was interesting, well paced, and the characters were believable and likable. The language and romance were tactful. The relationship between Ruby and Arcus was one of respect, love, patience, and understanding rather than just lust or physical intimacy, which was refreshing. They both grew as they story progressed. Some of the elements used in the story aren’t new concepts but the story had enough depth to create a solid story. I enjoyed this series much better than the Red Queen. You won’t be disappointed

Love every moment of reading this series. Could not wait to get my hand on the last book. And I must say it met with my expectations.
I loved everything about this series! Ruby, Arcus, everything! I highly recommend and can't wait for Elly Blake's next book.
I enjoyed the first two book in this series, they were simple but fun. This book was really slow for the first half, and predictable (as the first two were) for the second.

If you've read the first two it's worth taking the time to finish the series.
It was a nice ending and a good read. I think the Kai/Arcus arguments were a bit overdone but it didn’t take away from the story.
I wish there were more to this series. Well written, keeps you on your toes. Lovely resolution. Looking forward to the next series by this author
Maybe it's because I read this book about 6 months after I read the previous two books, but I didn't feel as connected to the characters as I would have liked and I didn't care about them as much as I would have liked. The first two thirds of the book were merely okay in my opinion, but the last third of the book was great, although I still found the ending a bit underwhelming.
Once again, Elly Blake writes magical words that instantly immerses me into Ruby's world. The end of this series has an epic battle, so well described, I felt I was there. And she made me sob at a very unexpected turn that had me screaming "No-No-No, not real!" along with Ruby. Hold on to your hearts, you're in for a ride.
